Well, the Tour is well underway. Monday will be a flat stage and should be a great day for the sprinters. Below is the profile and the map. Any predictions??
If it's a small crowd on the MNR I'll presume everyone is home catching up on the Tour. Enjoy!

Paul Sherwin's been predicting him for the last two days and I'll finally throw Oscar Freire into the predictions for the win Monday.

Feh! What's Sherwin know...
Today looks like a good day for McEwen. So what if the Tour squad was built around Evans and Robbie doesn't have a lead out man.
...and no, I'm not willing to put my money where my mouth is...
Good call. I know McEwen doesn't have much of a lead out train but that's never stopped him before. I think he likes using Zabel's anyway.
So I was kinda right. If (and we all know that means squat)the peloton (which Mcewen led in) had caught the break...
On a side note; watching Will Frischkorn in the post stage interview, he was definitely a ball of conflicting emotion. On one hand he seemed sincerely happy with his part of a successful stage long break. And on the other, as he described the last kilometer of the race, it was obvious that he was playing it out in his mind trying to decide what he could have done differently to win.
Great observation on the interview after the stage! Yeah, I'm sure he'll be replaying it in his mind for days to come.
