LL Bean TT

Hi All,

After reading the SMCC message board, someone mentioned that registration for the first Time Trial of the season, a new addition by LL Bean on May 4th, is free on Bike Reg. Anyone interested?? What the hell, it's FREE!!

The route has yet to be determined but the length is proposed at 20 miles.

Hmmm, I think I'll register.

So, I know we all love cycling... but the Beach to Beacon 10k registration starts TODAY! I am doing it for the first time this year and really think all of you should too. :-)

Good for you Scott! I might be there to cheer you, and a bunch of coworkers, on. However, one of my favorite Time Trials takes place the following day in Kennebunk and my goal is to participate in that. Running the race would wipe me out. Besides, it's such a huge draw that I'd hate to take a spot that could otherwise be taken by someone that REALLY wants to be there, like you! Good luck!

I just signed up as well. For the price, there was no reason not to, and now even more reason to ride!

The more the merrier! This will be my first TT and I am fully expecting to get my Butt kicked...but don't worry, cuz I'll be in SMCC colors. ;-)

Ok this info is unoffical the course being considered..Start at Bike/ski shop heading N. on route 1. In Brunswick right turn on hillside then left on Greenword (by the stone turtle) Right onto Church, left on to Woodside, right onto Bunganuc, left on Caso to Flying point back to Freeport Community center. This will be approximately an 18 mile circut. It's not confirmed yet, there is a meeting this week with police to approve.
**40+ participants have already registered. The race may be capped at 120!

That's one hell of a route for a time trial. Flying Point Road can be a bit difficult without being on a TT bike. Should be great!
