CRANC the KANC-Registration Starts Today
A very challenging, and early season, time trial starts registration today. The 21 mile, 2.300 foot climb up the east side of the Kancamagus Highway will be held May 17 this year, and this will be its 24th annual trial. Registration for the time trial, limited to 200 time trialists, started at 12:01 AM today at www.bikereg.com. The actual web site for the event is full of photos from the last 3-4 annual events; see Cranc the Kanc at www.nebikes.com Last years trial was held in miserable cold and wet conditions and I spied pictures of Dan Emery [CCCP sponsor, and sporting a CCCP jersey]. Dan looked wet, but triumphant, atop the Kancamagus Pass.

Thanks for the info Russ! My cousin spoke of this years ago. I never realized it was a time trial. I did notice they offer a 3-person TTT as one of the categories. Let me know if any CCCP members form a team. Would be great to go there to support them!

Hi all!
In the event you haven't registered for Crank the Kanc, don't bother. I hear registrations filled up in 48 hours! However, there is still room if you are considering a team:
