Well, we should be going north this weekend, as we've spent quite a few rides going south, so Pownal was on my mind, but the surf should be pretty darn great without a cloud in the sky--seems a shame to miss it.
So I offer up a choice: upta Pineland and northward into Pownal (65 miles for the full loop):

Or Mitchell Hill plus five lighthouses traveling through Cape on our way home for some surf watching (54 miles, plus a few more if we finish with the eastern prom trail). If you need to have a lobster roll, don't forget the cash!  We'll pick in the morning--wheels roll at 8:00. |

Hi, Bron. Just wanted to let you know that Dan and I ended up turning back and heading into Freeport to get his bike looked at. We’re both fine and we appreciate you and Jeff trying to stay with us. Hopefully we’ll see you all on another ride with no mechanical issues.
