The Mountains Are Calling, and I Must Go!
Our soggy Memorial Day weekend kyboshed the White Mountain Ride, but I am just not willing to lose the ride for two years in a row. Discussion continuing on FB, but it's looking like we'll head up to Fryeburg on Saturday for a 9:00 start (details here: Event Rides – Community Cycling Club of Portland (bikecccp.org).
If this is not in your program for this weekend, I can offer Mitchell Hill. This is a 42 mile route and will wrap you out to Cape Elizabeth where you'll have that lovely sea breeze. Once you get past Gorham Country Club, you're pretty much committed for the ride (though you can skip the coast and take the Greenbelt back). Wheels roll at 8:00 (back to normal start time, to beat the heat).
