Let's go visit Highland Lake and pedal the quiet backroads of Westbrook. If you want to add a few extra miles, I have some easy additions to stretch it out.

Thanks everyone, for help and waiting while I worked out some kinks on my new bike. When we turned off Blackstrap, I was hanging to the back to be sure our NY visitor didn't get dropped and my cleat felt loose. I told him to keep going and I stopped to tighten it, but my pedal fell off. It had worked its way loose and then stripped out the last couple of threads so I couldn't get it back together. A kind resident drove me and my bike back to the shop, where they fixed it for me.
I figured people might have worried when I disappeared and might not have heard from Chris back at the shop that I'd been there....

Thanks for the note Peter. We were a bit worried about you. Braun rode back, but wasn't able to find you. Will be good to have the "kinks" worked out of the new bike.
Thanks, Peter! We did wonder, but after waiting for the tail end to catch up and the ones that missed the turn to be chased down and brought back, I turned back to find you and didn't. I assumed the explanation was something like this. Get thee to a quality wrench, and that quickly: none of that should have happened. Stay safe!
