Well it's finally Memorial Day weekend, which means that the CCCP Memorial Day ride is finally here. The forecast is for a mostly sunny day and temps touching 80—a perfect day for a ride.
With the Memorial Day ride in mind, we don't want to do anything too long or hilly, but we still want to do a few hills a some mileage to keep people loose. Heading out to Mountain Rd. and coming back over the backside of Dutton HIll seems like a nice compromise (MapMyRide route).
There have been some rumblings about the possibility of a ride around here on Monday for those who aren't planning to do the Memorial Day ride. There isn't a local ride planned for Monday morning, but I will likely be heading out to do some variation on a route out past Pinelands (MapMyRide route). If there's enough interest, I wouldn't mind coordinating a departure time that would turn this into a group ride.

Have you guys been leaving at 8 sharp or later? I'll be joining you on Brook or Mtn.
Sean et al,
I may not be able to join the Memorial Day ride, so may be up for a local ride. I'd be game for something in the 50 mile range with some scenic vistas.
Harry
I was wondering I can hitch a ride with to the memorial day ride? I won't need a ride back because I'm meeting someone there to do the ride with. My name is terry and I did a half dozen or so saturday morning rides last year with the cccp. If anyone is willing to do this I can be reached at 615 3601. Thanks!
I'm heading out for a ride tomorrow at 8am with at least one other regular Saturday rider. If you're interested in joining, meet at Lunt Road/Middle Road intersection at 8am Monday morning. Not sure how far or exact route, but it won't be a thrash fest, and will be between 30 and 50 miles, I expect. Maybe coastal to Freeport? Out to Brunswick? Something else? C'mon out and find out!
Sean - what's the scoop? I'm looking to ride locally. After riding 58 today at 19.8 mph, I'm thinking more of a recovery pace...
Rod, I don't think Sean is riding tomorrow. Dan and I are headed out around 8am from the Lunt School in Falmouth if you'd like to join us. It'll be very recovery, I expect.
