Several of us gathered at
Novare Res Thursday night in celebration of Kris's birthday. Of course we came armed with a camera for photos but Dean came armed with chocolates. Belgium chocolate to accompany the Belgium beer - YUMMY!

(Sorry Greg, this was too good of a photo
not to post!)

Next week it's a return to Forest Gardens. However, we won't forget about this place for future events. It really is a great place. Check it out if you haven't done so yet.

Another excellent reason for never sitting next to Dana; on a ride, at a bar, at Ebeenzers, on a train, on a plane, going uphill . . .

It's always a blog posting in the making!
I had no idea that Bjarne Riis, ex Tour de France champion, had joined CCCP. It was even my birthday party, yet I did not notice Bjarne hoisting a Trappist Belgian beer with Dr Fisher at Novare Res. I guess those beers were stronger than realized!

The belgians were so strong that they transformed some of our appearances: I was, for a moment, the masher Bjarne Riis. I'll accept the transformation. And is their any doubt as to where our carbs are chiefly derived?
