Tomorrow looks to be a great day, but I have a hard stop, so I need to be a little conservative. Let's go out to Salmon Falls. This is a tidy little 50-miler but we can always tack on Cape for some extra miles if you'd like.
Wheels roll at 8:00.

It's not raining, blistering, or muggy this weekend--let's ride!
The Clam Festival will be in full swing, so we'll head westerly and go out towards Sebago, then wend our way back through Windham and Gorham. It's a pretty route and Middlejam Road is newly paved, so it should be a nice ride.
Don't forget to make time for a lime rickey afterwards!
Wheels roll at 8:00.
Well, for crying out loud--it looks like we have another weekend trying to make me look foolish. Once again, three of four weather models say rain, but they all say Sunday will be hotter. Given that, I think we should punt to Sunday but stay coastal and use a route with a lot of options: that means Brunswick.
We have loops from 34 to 66 miles (though I'd advise against that one), so we can easily turn back whenever it seems appropriate. All options feature a pit stop, so we'll have an opportunity to take on more water and calories.
Don't forget the sunscreen--Wheels roll at 8:00.

Once again, sports fans, there's just no telling: three weather models show rain tomorrow, but none of them show rain on Sunday, so I think we'd better punt and plan to ride Sunday morning.
Out ride will be the Roads Less Traveled 58 miler. If you want to make it shorter, you can cut across North Road from Pinelands.
Ride leaves at 8:00 on SUNDAY.
