I am out of town for the next two weeks, so it will be Dealer's Choice this weekend. Jerry reminds me that the B2B is going on this Saturday, so let's stay away from Cape. Freeport/Brunswick is a good choice, assuming Pinelands was last weekend, or a maybe quick 32 mile ride to the Fairgrounds, perhaps with an extension up to Sligo?
Please think a little about the Boothbay Ramble that Paul has proposed... it looks like a lot of fun.

Destination Ride?
Paul has been spending all his recent weekends in Boothbay and has plotted out a course for the club if we're interested in making a little trek his way for a rural ramble and perhaps barbeque afterwards. Let's be sure to talk about this in the next couple of weeks, as August seems the best month to try this. Feel free to use the comments.
And, just a reminder, I need a wrangler for this Saturday.

7/25 Saturday Ride
I will be taking care of registration and resting up for the Tri for a Cure on Sunday, so I'm going to need someone to step up for the Saturday ride. Dealer's choice on the course, so if anyone is available, just email me.

7/19 BBB&B Ride
Well, Saturday's a washout, so how about Sunday?
Don't miss our Barista, Bike, Beer and Brunch ride. Meet at Coffee by Design at 10 AM on Diamond Street in East Bayside for coffee. We then do a Southern loop ride through Scarborough, Bar Mills, Saco and back n the Eastern Trail.
Return to East Bayside to Rising Tide Brewery (across the street from CBD) for some deliciously refreshing Maine Island Trail Ale or other great craft beer along with lunch/brunch at their Food Truck de Jour. Not sure which Food Truck is there this Sunday but they are all quite good.
Here is the route with possibly a couple of modifications to make it an even 50 miles. Bring lots of water since it is supposed to be 80 and there are not many place to get water on the route. http://www.mapmyride.com/workout/683941249

7/18 Saturday Ride
Well folks, it looks like it's anybody's guess what the weather will be tomorrow, but I'm sure of one thing: we're staying as far away from Yarmouth and Portland as we can.
Between the Clam Festival and Tall Ships Portland, we're going to be knee-deep in flip-flops, fried food, and full sails. I think our best bet is to head west for a little bucolic Westbrook ride. Think happy weather thoughts... see you at 8:00.

7/11 Saturday Ride
Sorry, folks: I've been a total slacker! I've been entertaining guests all week, road riding, mountain riding, and hiking. They're happy, I'm pooped, but I'm looking forward to tomorrow!
Given my distraction, I need to fall back on the old reliable routes: Pinelands or Freeport/Brunswick. We'll make our choice in the morning. It's going to be a warm one, so please pack adequate water and sports drink, as well as a snack. Wheels roll at 8:00.
